Golf GPS is a straightforward application designed to enhance your golfing experience. It provides essential information such as distances to bunkers, water hazards, and pins. Unlike many similar apps that often require a subscription or manual map setup, Golf GPS aims to simplify your game through its practical features.

While facing challenges with my iron shots on the course, I came up with an innovative concept. Recognizing the significance of red, white, and blue yardage markers representing 100, 150, and 200 yards from the pin on the golf course, I decided to reverse this concept for convenience on my iPhone screen.

Upon launching the app, it generates a map around your location with a visual representation of the distances. By placing a blue pin at your current position and overlaying red, white, and blue circles indicating varying yardages from you, Golf GPS ensures that you have quick access to crucial distance information during your round. Additionally, users can easily customize the yardage circles by adding or relocating markers as needed.

The app's ability to store your selected yardages for future reference enhances its usability. It also offers support for both yard and meter measurements catering to different user preferences. Moreover, Golf GPS includes features like a compass view for orientation, various circle sizes for accuracy, background mode for efficiency, and the option to drop markers for shot tracking.
